   Ms. Aderhold is well-known for her success in civil and criminal litigation. Her recent focus has been on family law. "The decisions people make during any family process will often affect the rest of their lives. It is important to address not only the obvious issues, but to also address all areas that will be impacted by the decisions made."
   Kathleen Aderhold is a member of many professional organizations, including the Savannah Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia, the Savannah Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Georgia Association of Women's Lawyers, the Savannah Trial Lawyer's Association, and the Family Law section of both the State and Savannah Bar Associations. She actively participates within these organizations as both a lecturer and a member of the areas that relate to her practice.
   Kathleen was the first Domestic Mediator in Chatham County and has received awards for her pro bono work from the State Bar, and for her professionalism from the Chief Justice of the Superior Court. She is frequently asked by the Superior Court of Chatham County to act as a Guardian Ad Litem for the children of parents in divorce cases. In addition to being honored by the citizens of Savannah as "Lawyer of the Year" in 2009. She continues to remain active as a graduate of Leadership Savannah and a sustainer in the Savannah Junior League.
